Therapy

Picture

Wolff Child Psychology offers individual and family therapy to help children and families who are experiencing a range of issues - from adjusting to recent stress, to coping with ongoing and complex developmental problems. We incorporate evidence-based, cognitive-behavioral principles into all facets of treatment. Often, we collaborate with caregivers and children by teaching evidence-based cognitive and behavioral coping skills, building and supporting efforts at home.

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is focused on improving the social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties experienced by many children and teens. Through therapy, children will learn to manage these difficulties in a way that improves mood, behavior, and overall functioning.

Family Therapy
Because families are central to children's healthy development, families will be closely involved in a child's treatment. In some instances, treatment works best when the family is present during therapy. We work to help families build the confidence and skills needed to effectively address each child's specific challenges.

What to Expect
Typically, the initial session is a free 50-minute consultation appointment in which treatment options are discussed. Sessions can be scheduled thereafter, though this appointment may lead to being referred to other providers, if needed.

Fees
50 minute therapy session: $175
